Yoga Pose

Camel (Dynamic)

Camel (Dynamic)

From Child’s Pose take the hands behind the back and wrap the right hand around the left wrist.  The hands should rest on the sacrum and remain there throughout the movements.


Lift the upper body up so that you are on your knees, arms still linked behind you and hands resting on the sacrum, shoulders rolling back, heart opening, eyes looking straight ahead and chin parallel to the floor.


Lower the upper body back down to Child’s Pose, forehead to the floor.

*Repeat 10 times.
*As you continue the hips will open and be able to press forward from the knees while the shoulders open and move back from the hips.  
*Hands remain on the sacrum for low back support.
